We became good friend after the formation of Study Group I (read intelligent) in the first term. This guy can do a lot of instant bakar. We ,i.e., Abhiram, Shivam and myself started our IIM career literally from this two seater legendary room B3. A gem of a person and a true friend, I will definitely miss u. Wish u a great future ahead...

One of my closest friends unfortunately lost in the race of right & wrong. A fun loving freak, who is always self-energized & loves laughing. His unique trait of just talking on any random topic under the sun really differentiates him from the others. Very approachable & friendly chap who is always ready to go out of his way to please his friends. He was one of the few people with whom I could always talk my heart out. Will never forget some of the conversations we have had.

Wish you all the best for the future!!!

Memories I’ll remember – the bakar sessions, B3, utube links, loads of food, the candid talks

PS: Would personally love to rewind the time & moments in my watch

stinking hands, murmuring mouth and an intelligent brain, sivam kataria.. My benchmate for one whole term, and a lumi for 2 terms. Sivam was arguably one of the most energetic guys, whom I have seen. There was a small altercation between us, which has been well attended to. sivam, ATB and continue to chill out well ;)

"Kattoo"- The guy is absolutely crazy...an ensemble of weird thoughts, silly jokes and outrageous actions....will never forget how he tried to feed the whole mess bad halwa (courtsey his own cooking)...or making sandwiches with a pen knife in B3....woke me up with his squeaky voice at 3 AM every night in the first semester....amazing TT player...amazingly bad cricketer....and finally the guy who managed to flirt with his senior (read HR Manager) during internship at PwC....dude u are a great guy...stay the same :)

Kuts/Katttooo/Chataria/Mr. Bakar/Daddu ka Beta
Ready CRAZZZZZZY GUY - Much like his Merrut coevals....arrogant...impulsive..extrovert...flirt...but super duper helpful....gud thinker and smart worker....he is one of the few guys who has offered help when no one else was there....I will always remember your kind gesture...
You will anyways make it big ...so no point wishing you :P
PS: Cut down on the jokes and wear sunglasses to hide the crazy eyes... ( Some chicks in junior batch suggested the latter)

Brilliant mind, creative spirit, vivacious personality, oodles of attitude and a soft and caring heart. He is a gem of a friend without whom my stay at IIM Shillong would have been unbearable. He is bursting with new ideas and always wants to go out there and do different things. We would never have participated (and won) in the B-school competitions had it not been for his lead and "get-up-and-go" attitude.
I have learnt many things from him, like IT-techie stuff, insights into how people think and act, listening to hip-hop and rap music & yes a little bit of finance too! I think we've explored almost all the eateries in PB/Laitumukhrah- I remember each time we had to decide what cuisine to eat cause we are totally oppostie in food preferences. (Btw he loves paneer – in any form!). I have coined various nicknames for him - the infamous "Kattu", "Shillong guide" etc. He’s not only a great sportsman (can play any game!) but also a fab teacher- gave me lessons on TT, basketball and baddy.

He is a force to reckon with- has the winning combination of super high IQ and EQ. He wishes to become an entrepreneur someday and I hope (and truly believe) he achieves whatever he desires. Wishing him all the best in life. Rock the world!!!

hes an IT-pro, a team worker, and is always well informed abt the surroundings....

i learn frm his frnds that he is caring, concerned and a true friend!

m glad to have a batchmate like u :)

wl never forget the mess-meetings that we had in the first 2 wks of iim-shillong.....spearheaded by shibham and biswadeep..

An awesome person and a wonderful friend.. He was probably the first guy here with whom I discussed almost everything candidly.. Have beautiful memories ranging from the Group I PDPs and projects to the long never ending gtalk conversations.. We both have played multiple roles for each other here - friend, groupmate, dance partner, confidant, son, travelmate, counsellor, chat friend and what not! I think I could stay back here in vacations only because of you and Sept vacs time was one of my most memorable times here.. Carrying back beautiful memories of the Rock Nite, PDPs and the various outings that you dragged me to inspite of my laziness..

Has good managing capabilities and is a great speaker.. Goes without saying that you'll do very well in life.. Can say this for sure now after seeing the way you work, think and your attitude towards life.. Wish you the best always!

Would definitely like to stay in touch..
BTW you still owe me a dare..

a person who is never shy of speaking his heart out and giving ideas however crazy they are.. - buddy system was his brain child... and he became my buddy... a great speaker and very talkative..

one of the founder members of the bakar club and when we got into the same fin group, transformed group meetings to bakar sessions as well... he has a habit of setting alarms on laptop that too at midnight.. bagchi really got frustrated with that...

in the initial classes along with nishant, he had instituted awesome awards to make the classes more interesting"(sustainability course) ... also they used to count for egzamples, theinks, again and again and what not...

ready to help, full of energy, plays a lot... a tt champ, basket ball champ n baddy champ too.... easily makes friends with others and then tells them his never ending pj's...

intelligent guy with loads of sense of humour..
all the very best for the future...

tere baare mein likhne ke liye shabd kam padenge...!! :)

Kattu... the name was given to him by me..! We became the best of friends at Bakar club... since then... we have only got closer... touch wood....

He is someone with whom... almost all my wavelengths match... the same sense of music, the same taste for movies, the same passion for IT, the same Bakar attitude, cribbing about food and many other things... although i would say he is much more versatile than I am...

an amazing TT and basket ball player... maybe he is good at other sports as well.. but i have seen him playing only these two.. but he sucks at Computer Games :D... remember NFS??..

someone.. who owing to his deeds, words, or looks... would always be in the limelight..

We almost started selling Bamboo together in Meghalaya! :).. and I cant ask for more... as Shivam is going to be with me at Infy...

Hope to continue the same spirit and friendship for a life time dude! You simply rock... God Bless and All the best...
-Abhiram
