What maximum can u expect from a "friend" in a hostel... sharing sorrows, happiness, getting care.. a sureshot place in ur frnd’s study grp ... I have got more than that....Gore, from the 1st term catastrophe to visiting IIMA in the second term, from the umpteen bday treats & parties in the 3rd term to writing our frst ppr for the US conference in the 4th... mending things in the 5th term to cherishing vthng in the 6th ....u hv always been dre.. in retrospect, i can’t imagine my stay at S widout u..thx
The Topper :) Dude.. how come you get so much marks !!! Right from Day 1 @ IIM S you have done so much with studies that no one dare come near you ... A true intellectual and a gentle hearted person. We shared a rare camaraderie right from the beginning and it grew during unveiling Symphony. I learnt a lot of things from you.. Met this chap for the first time on gtalk immediately after I had converted my IIM S call. Easily approachable & warm hearted. He was one with whom I found it very easy to make friendship. I still remember the first walk we took the day we arrived here, probably the time we were gauging each others interest areas.
As the months rolled on, I got to know gore more in detail. A very serious & focused guy yet engrained with practicality. His strive for excellence at every endeavour ensures he does his work to the best. On the lighter side, he is known for laughing at his own jokes & I’ll never forget our Confluence ’08 trip at IIMA.
Still got a long way to understand him better & I am glad he shall be joining with me in the same organisation at Bangalore. Looking forward for some great times there too!!!
Gore.. he is the first guy who sat me in first time nameplate order.. i remember that when we were given a group assignment, i was informed that solution was given to prof in two hours. such a a focused and patient guy..True topper..

come on, v hve to get it right. The first stats assignment was wid this gore, and v had a lousy presentation to bring melinda gates to iim-s through my Buddy's contact. tht was all i knew from gore for a v v long time. come term 6, and der in was the miraculous ppt in qmm, wer he forgot tht i was in his grp. he brushed up the case for me, and was gracious enuf to gimme 2 slides :) and of course, one other incident-TT: Gore u wer the most competitive, if not the best;)
Most padhaku ladka of the batch and one of the pj kings... kitne bure joke hote hai tere... n ur 'Shakkhi' joke one of the worst and most remember able... agar mein tujhe tab chup na karvati tab toh tu rashi and swati ko paagal kar deta.. am so glad I was able to help both of them…

My first friend in IIM Shillong. When I first got talking to you, I found the similarity between us intriguing...I could almost always predict what you were thinking, even before I got to know you that well because we were so similar. I will always remember the first two terms of college when we worked together as members of group A, how we would struggle with all the MA cases and how in between the study sessions we would talk about various things. I will always remember the various competitions we took part in (not clearing most). And then making to the Confluence finalist list and working together on the presentation late into the night. Aditya is one the most focussed and dedicated people I have known. He knows exactly what he wants, finds out how to go about it and then he makes it happen. Intelligent, smart, balanced and hardworking, a combination which is rare to find. Any investment banker would love to work with him. GOREEEEEEEEE....that was the word which woke most of the C winger in first year...and the response was MAYAAAAAAAAAAAAK...He was the guy who came with a solution for my lappy Blue Screen death...I was not knowing the term when in landed in Shillong. A guy who left a Lehman offer to join IIM Shillong, thats how i was knowing him..what followed was history..Topper of the batch and famous for his deadly PJSSS...he looks like my younger brother and studies like him too...All the best Gore for a bright future..

Gore appears to be a very sincere, accha baccha character...but mind it...this is a true deception!!! He is exactly he opposite of the 'accha bachha' character... PJ master- with whom I mastered the tricks of this trade :D and a gossip king.. The chemistry between Gore and Minku is worth watching.. I will always cherish the time that five of us (Gore, Minku, Ankit, Parul and Rashi) spent ... may it be at mess, or hostel room, or the travel to-and-fro between Shillong and Guwahati...I never thought I could have had such a strong bonding with u (U appeared to be such a serious kind)...But nonetheless, u are truly a very hardworking, focussed, determined person, with a very straight-forward approach... U will surely make a big name for urself in the corporate world!!! Loads of good luck and my best wishes for U!!
Topper of the batch...but thats not what is most interesting about Gore....the guy who tries to prove that his damn boring PJs could actually be interesting if u looked at them in a certain way....extremely organised....even devotes time for "Thinking".....fellow prospective HSBC employee, so I wont say goodbye....but his poses after playing disgustingly poor shots at the TT table would keep us laughing long into the night....u rock dude :)

The topper of our batch and a thorough gentleman describe gore very well. No one at IIM S touches his/her hair so many times as this proud mumbaikar does. He has a desire to be on top always and he works hard to fulfil his dreams. I do not need to speak of his good characters as he has consistently been on top. I will always blame him for spoiling my son minki-pinki. He can make you mad with his non-veg PJs. No points in guessing that he will be the CEO of some I-Bank very soon. All the best gore.

Diligent, Meticulous, Focussed and almost a walking To-do planner.. Way too systematic and over-objective about everything.. Cracks poor and sometimes 'not-so-poor' jokes.. But an amazing person to work with in teams.. and a wonderful friend.. I think I have seen the maximum change in him over the past two years.. From the time when he discussed his apprehensions and doubts candidly to the present confident and "I know what I am doing" Gore.. This guy is a real time manager, manages to do everything in time. No wonder he is the topper of the batch and he does not maintain any air of arrogance about it. Accessible anytime, helped us in giving information about which assignment to complete, when to complete etc. He cleared CFA, but i guess he cleared it because of his love for ethics portion in CFA. Always found giving ethics gyan of the CFA institute. This is one of the few guys who plan their future well and make them go as per the plans. I am sure; you will go great in future. Wish you all the best in your future.
He will be remembered as the gold medallist at IIM S.. it is more special considering that ours is the first batch.. popular only because of ACADS.. actually he also made his mark with his jokes which were pathetic.. For some reason or the other, I didn't find him very interesting person.. may be coz he was too much involved in acads and didn't do anything other than acads.. but the second year at IIM S witnessed a different Aditya.. he can be seen in TT room these days.. and the way he tries and uses his mind while playing is really interesting.. The guy is a genius and more importantly is determined.. it amazes me how can he do consistently well throughout all the terms of IIMS.. Actually he is very sincere and "Bhola Bhala" kind... and lets agree people have been jealous of you at some point of time or the other.. But, you will always be remembered as the most hard working, determined and focussed perosn at IIM S who knew from Day 0 that he wants to be the topper here too.. Hats off to you bro.. Perhaps I will learn more about you as a person while working with you at HSBC.. and perhaps I will be successful in helping you shade your "Bholapan".. Really looking forward to work with you..
