innocent, intelligent, hard working, dedicated and most talkative person here in the campus.. a true person who speaks from his heart.. but doesn't know when to stop and when not to talk...

when we first met in Delhi, he was the quietest, don't know how he managed that... after coming here he talks non stop...

loves to roam about and first to finish his work... he hates food here and survives on maggi... a nanha at the heart and in habits..

he sings really nice and is not at all shy from doing so... how do you remember so much all the songs, books etc etc...

takes tension for the smallest of the test or assignments and gets excited easily... loves Delhi and its people.. will go ways to help his friends and defend them... can derive pleasure from smallest of the things..

it was really fun to know you... all the very best for life ahead... hope you achieve all the success in life..

Mayank...The real topper of IIM Shillong who has not only earned marks but also made a memorable spot in everyone's heart.....Always ready to help with his simple concepts and caring attitude....I was fortunate to work with him in my Fin subject and believe me It was only Mayank that I cleared the exam........

The guy who speaks his heart out, a great singer,a proud Delhite...a great friend....An epitome of honesty and innocence(Forget Heater incident..:P).....I will always cherish moments spent with you my dear friend....All the best for a rocking career ahead.....

My first memories of him at IIMS are those in the mess where I always found him cribbing about the food. The first thought that came to my mind was “What a bacha....!!!!!” but then our friendship grew and I realised what a blessing his childlike nature was....
Mayank is one of the most genuine people I have known. Everything he says or does is straight from his heart. A friend to rely upon, a person who ties people together, someone whom you can count on for his support and advice.
Mayank’s passion for things he likes to do, the effort he puts in his work (“Acha kaam karna hai bhaisahab!! Bas!!), his ability to make friends easily and keep them for life will make him succeed in whatever he does...
Wish you a great life ahead and a very wonderful future :)

His parents named him Mayank, friends called him Minku. I had several names for him- nanhe, littaal, minki-pinki, minka among many others. I tried to irritate him a lot and named a bathroom to him. For latecomers, he is my adopted son.
I owe my first three semesters to him, to his madness/obsession to finish assignments before time. One of the most hardworking guy of our batch, highly talented, very childish and speaks his heart out. It was a blessing to have him in my study group.
Wishing you all the best for a bright career in Finance.

Mayank….a very caring & charming person who is strongly bonded with his friends. Very emotional & his moods are a direct reflection of the moods of his close ones. A true friend in every meaning & a one on whom you can always rely upon. Arre bhai saab, if he ever happens to be in your study group, be rest assured things will happen automatically as he will always take the lead. Known for his witty one liners, he is one of those rare people who says what is in his heart (if he doesn’t like something, woh uska Kunta kar dega). Very studious & loves studying.

Don get senti, still got a long time to spend with you in Bangalore….looking forward to it. Jabbarjung!!!

He comes closest to "innocence personified" that anybody can at this age. The best things about him are his brilliant sense of humour and the way he says things straight from the heart. That makes him one of the very few genuine people I have ever met. He is brainy, hardworking, sincere, an awesome company & a wonderful friend..Known for his witty comments and would do anything for people he considers true friends..

I am sure he’ll continue doing very well in life. For him there is no looking back and I
sincerely wish him every success... :)

His behaviour might seem childish but he is the one who helped us out during exams in the days of C-Wing. Says whatever feels , doesn’t think twice before saying it. So conscious academically, that he left the MR course as he felt that his grades will be screwed because of the bad first impression. He is a master in dramatics. Very active and energetic, will go to heights in future.
Wish you all the best in your future.

Don’t go by his face , his comments can pull anyone’s legs anytime. My neighbor for 1 year in barracks. Big lover of music and a good singer. Trying hard to learn TT now a days.

Highly sincere, dedicated and intelligent guy, most of the time used to be the first person to complete his assignment.

All the best I-Banker, hope that u will remember me after becoming a big successful man

He is the first person I came to know from the IIM Shillong community. I still remember telling my friends after chatting with him that this guy seems to be hyper. What I was about to discover was that was the understatement of the century. If I could find a way to harness his energy, I would get the next Nobel Prize.
Jokes apart Mayank aka Minku is the most talked about guy in the batch. I have been fortunate enough to work with him in study group. Work with him is a misnomer for I was in the group and he was the one who did all the work. Professionally I think he is one of those people whom you can blindly believe as far as delivery and quality of work is concerned.

Personally he is a one of a kind person. In many ways he is still a kid who looks upto a lot of people for guidance as well as support. Though I am not a great fan of the way he conducts his relationships, I still feel that it is because of the goodness of his heart rather than anything else. There have been times when I felt low and tense and so very unsure of what I should do. He has been the devil’s advocate for me and held my hand innumerous times to lead me towards victory. His unquestioning compliance to every request of mine speaks volumes about his nature as a giver. The long chats that he and I have had sometimes running late into nights, have I guess, really helped us both evolve. I distinctly remember the chat we had on the last day of 3rd trimester and we did not sleep the whole night. We went for a walk as the first ray of dawn hit us and probably shed light on a lot of questions. Looking back Minku I think you are one of the few people without whom I can’t imagine my days here. Your faith in my abilities and your support has kept me going in lows and checked me from going overboard during highs.

Minku I know I can’t thank you enough for the uncountable things you have done for me but even more than that I can’t thank you enough for just being you…
