I first met Parul during IIM Shillong GD/PI. Back then I didn’t know that we would get to be such good friends. But, even then I was struck her easy going attitude and pleasant personality. Parul is one of those people who can put life into the most boring discussions, who can make a room light up the moment they enter it and who can make difficult things seem really simple. We have pulled a few pranks together at IIM Shillong (cant forget Sareet’s dasha in our finance group that particular night) and we have together succeeded in making life miserable for Mayank in the campus. Parul is fun to be with and an amazing person. She is charismatic, witty, intelligent and hardworking. Wish you a great life ahead and a wonderful future :) --Rashi

i started talking to her in the 3rd sem properly, if i remember it correctly well, we all of the 5 have spent some wonderful time together.....and some of those are: 1. the dumb-charades 2. the 2 hr walks on the ring-road 3. the umpteen parties at CP, bombay bites, cloud 9, etc. will miss all this now, the most important part: her sense of humor and my jokes we signed a contract acc to which she was supposed to "ha ha ha" on my jokes and i on hers...but unfortunately, she broke the contract...... :( never mind, always stay in touch and always b my friend

I would like you to visualize a girl. An extremely intelligent person with looks to match, excellent oratory skills, strong sense of achievement and a devil may care attitude. I think it is highly probable you would visualize someone who would be highly inaccessible with loads of attitude. Right? Wrong. What ceases to amaze me is how this girl who hails from a small town has made a mark for herself wherever she went. A really outgoing personality, she has that rare quality to care for others which is really difficult in girls with the aforesaid qualities. She has an invisible line around herself and once you are part of that circle she keeps no holds and you become a part of her. Her ability to empathize with people and their problems is a rare quality that she possesses. Parul has contributed to me like no one has in this institute. After 2 terms here with abysmally low marks, I had come to the conclusion that I need someone who can actually put me on to the right track. I did think of a lot of options but none appealed to me the way she did. Although we had been part of IIM A “Paricint “ team I never used to talk to her. It is to her credit that when I asked her to help me out with my studies she agreed without any hesitation whatsoever. This is just another example to prove the kind of person she is. I can safely say that she is the only one who turned my CGPA around to what it is now. Parul I can’t thank you enough for that alone leave aside the rest. It was not all work between us. The friend in her was one of the biggest support structures that I can rely on to date. Her amazing habit of compromising her own interests in the interest of friendship made me understand the greatness of this girl. There have been times high and low but whenever I needed help she was always there. I hate the feeling of being obligated but she is one of the few people who make me feel that whatever I do I would never be able to equal what she did for me. Parul this is not something I have been able to say for a lot of people I have come across in my life but I think you deserve it. Parul I am humbled by knowing you professionally as well as personally and I would forever be indebted to you for giving me this opportunity to know you. Thanks…
