Daddyji... Thanks to the passport applying process (which btw still has not been done) we both have suffered a little :)
Ofcoure we are infamously fellow StudC members which was quite an experience in itself!!! Will definitely miss the brief but lively interactions we had across these days. All the best to you I-Banker :)

He is someone I regularly look upto (one reason being his room has been pretty close-by to mine, both in barracks and new hostel :D) On a serious note, he has been a guiding and motivating force behind many situations, be it Council discussions or class participations!! In spite of being so elder to us, he is very dear due to his humbleness, readyness to help, and readily available spicy bits of information :). I wish you all the best for your bright days ahead and proud to be associated with you as prospective co-employee :)

Daddy... My neighbor for half my stay at IIM Shillong.. His inspiration, motivation and experience is something that I have immensely benefited from. He has always been there whenever I have needed his help...

You can count on him for any news.. It works faster than our emails..

He has now become an I-Banker, his ultimate dream.. Daddy I am proud of you.. Don't forget us.. Hopefully we'll be neighbors in Bangalore also... Good luck

“Hot News...Hot News...” somebody shouting in the corridors of the hostel. Its nobody other than Daddy. Known for his mirch masala stories, Daddy is the guy who can make any trivial news to a spicy one with its value adding capabilities.
One of the coolest thing about Daddy is, being so senior, he is still a very frank guy to hang around with and discuss any kind of topics (Academics—No way). Going by his name, he treats us in a very caring way making him one of the most lovable persons of the batch.
I am sure you will rise up to the ladders to the Chairman of a company. Best wishes for your future.

Abhiram Mahajani said...

DADDY! inki maya aparam par hai! ye sarv gyaani hain!! The best grapevine of IIMS. :) Stud C ke Stud... And finally I would say.. he proves the fact that some things come only with EXPERIENCE and AGE! All the very best. :)

Unknown said...

Arun aka Daddy.Always ready with the breaking news of the day.
The first thing i noticed about daddy was that his expression remains same everytime (whatever may be the topic).
Very hardworking, sincere and honest guy/Daddy.I am sure you will achieve great heights in future.

Unknown said...

Daddy ji ... First of all I apologize for asking your daughter’s & Bhabhi’s birthday at wrong place, wrong time & most importantly in wrong company.
Your indecent & scandalous one-liners have always made you centre of attraction. You have been one of the coolest people to hang out with.
A very sensible, mature person & caring person, the only married guy of our batch, Arun has also been one of the most hard working people of IIM S, given his slightly higher age than us(sorry again). He is highly analytical, has a strong view on everything and has a good understanding of Finance and Chemical & Fertilizer Industry.
It was a great pleasure being with him during internship. Wish you a great future in I-Banking.

Arun comes across as a very organized, sincere, calm, down-to-earth person...never had a chance to work with him but whenever I interacted he sounded very mature in his approach...He makes sense whenever he speaks and has gravity in his suggestions....He will surely carve a niche for himself in the long -run...Wishing him all the very best for the life ahead!!!

Shivam Kataria said...

Daddy ji...Inke kaan Kanoon se bhi tez hai....don know how does he get the information so fast. He is extremely competent at spreading bakar at lightening fast speed (Blitzkrieg).
I am sure, when he came here, He would not have expected to carry so many children back. I met him in the GD/PI of IIM S and he was quite keen on getting in the college. I was amazed to find out that he was already a manager and my reverence for this guy began then only.
He is truely Batch-Binder who has held the spirit of IIM S high. Though I had some misunderstanding with him in the first year but I guess I was able to see clearly the goodness in this man's hear.
I would always respect you Daddyji. Best of luck for you life ahead. ATB

Daddy of the class, the name given to him by the class quite fits him. No, its not because he is older than us, but because he looks after the whole batch. Someone is in trouble or upset about anything Daddy is sure to be there to help. I respect him a lot for his maturity, helpful attitude and caring nature.

Wishing you all the very best in future, its sure to be amazing :)

Arun Saluru aka Daddy is the kind of a person who would grow on you and in due time be a guiding light for you. The ideal Student Council member, he is the epitome of what you would call diplomacy. If there is a fragile situation that has all the risk of being blown out of proportion, Daddy is your man. His ability to foresee the effect of actions has impressed me to the extent that no one else’s has.
I really wish I could be even half of what he is today in terms of patience and maturity. Daddy your advice has always been of paramount importance to me and I hope you will not forget this adopted son of yours. Looking forward to years that are yet to come…
