Sarveshc, the first time I heard from this guy was, on May 8th,2008; v wer the initial members of the orkut community &y-grps. Both of us, got royally screwed initially for taking up some pan-IIM initiatives. Sarvesh, was on board, as a very friendly but introverted lad, who could deliver work of the highest quality (even if it was with his room mate in exams).. nice meetin u sarvesh, the first time hindi chats on gtalk, tht luked completely foreign to me then, i shal nvr forget:)
I still remember first time i had talked to him over phone (b4 joining IIMS)......very few at IIMS can match the dedication and perfection of his standard...a gem of a friend and an excellent designer....will miss u and all the best for ur future!!!
"lalaji AKA sarbhiss" Humare grp F ke flag bearer...inki daya se hi humare grp ki bakwaas ppts ko kai baar praises mile( for the superb designs) ......enjoyed a lot during the second year with the "GROUP"....super helpful guy and i simply loved his orange burfi .... has something to eat all the time... ATB for life....
Lalaji... wants to excel in everything he lays his hands upon and he really does. Fortunately for me & IIM Shillong, he laid his hands on Niveshak and the rest is history. He is a very sensible person and has rescued me from some agency problems (I guess u have understood). His creativity is being cut by academic rigours. Very hard working, highly analytical and can help in analysing situations and taking decisions for you. You have been a great friend. Your positive attitude and eye for detail will take you up the corporate ladder. IIM Shillong will remember you for your contribution to Niveshak & PR Cell. All the Best for your future.
To write about Sarvesh is something very difficult for me. I guess ( not so sure :P) but I am the one who is closest to him in this campus. Our journey started with Pagalguy.. the events there and loads of hope for IIM S. From begining itself we fostered same dreams..same aspiration..love of coffee.. same resume :P and I hope same future ( U knw what m talking about).
He is the one who taught me photoshop.. He is the one who taught me once you take up something stay committed. He is the one who gave me his shoulder when I cried.
From day 1 we ahred a repertoire and camaraderie..we have went through some very difficlut times together.. I believe one of the good things IIM S has given me is this life long friend.. whom I can trust..depend..
Perfection is something which Sarvesh only can define.. His quality of work and taking care of minute details shows his dedication towards anything he undertakes. probably thats why he is the one of reason I am in IIM S.
well there are so many adjectives I can pour in here.. but our friendship is something I cant truly define here.. n for rest of stuff.. i guess will let u know personally :P )
Words can't describe this person.. You have to meet him to actually know this person.. I feel very lucky to have him as a friend.. Whenever I am low in confidence or upset, he is the person I look upto.. I will always cherish our friendship.. I guess, we were the only two people who used to go out daily and explore new places in Shillong.. the most common destination being CCD.. A die hard coffee lover.. and a novice to Hollywood.. Talking about Hollywood movies is the only thing that would upset him coz he has no knowledge of the greatest of movies too.. Great creativity and an enterpreneur.. Greatly responsible for our successful PR operations.. contributed heavely to make Niveshak so popular.. Along with Trips, formed great mentorship program.. he has a unique record to his name, which the future genertaions of IIMS can't even compete.. he has sacrificed his acads for this college.. Always thinks bigger than life.. has certain ambitions which he will achieve one day.. and he knows that..
His achievements are great and can't be numbered.. But, it is important to know him as a person.. a very humble and soft spoken person.. kinda moody though.. but always thinks about others.. thats why he has some very good friends in his life.. Really believes in friendship and lives for them.. Over the last two years, he has worked on his sense of humor too and by the way he has some great Nagpur words in his vocab.. plays TT.. and always likes to bet with me.. Dude, please.. you can't beat Barney.. u r Ted.. so, please.. :)
We two also have Kolkata factor in common.. apart from being the popular Marus in the batch.. Known as Lalaji in our batch, he also got famous with mike testing.. No one dared to setup the faculty laptop with the tech savvy board of ours when Sarvesh was present in the class.. he excels in whatever he does.. be it b-school competitions, or other ventures like PR, creative presentations or use of technology such as in the PDP of Group F (in lines with F-1).. loves excels and believes in technical analysis.. I guess, he can be called to teach technical analysis to juniors.. he is just great with it.. I guess he misunderstood the word "technical" in the term TA.. :P
HE HAS PLAYED A BIG ROLE IN MY LIFE and he knows that.. we have celebrated every occassion together.. it has always been like brothers with him and it will always remain so.. His dream is to buy a share of "Berkshire Hathway" one day.. Bro, u will definitely buy that one day.. just make sure you pass on that to me please.. :P
Sarvesh....he was everywhere when the first batch of IIM Shillong was gathering courage to come here...soothing frayed nerves...giving advice through pagalguy...Sarvshwet was a larger than life figure before we even met him.....fellow member of "Kemporors" that allowed us to get through the initial MA cases....and his stock answer to the question why an MD needs to get an MBA is "Because I wanted to learn".....has really worked hard on his paunch in IIM Shillong....always ready to feed u homemade delicacies (one of those few guys who actually offer food on their own to famished people).....we had great fun making up "The adventures of Shikari Lala" with Sarvesh as the central character......but besides creativity and a stupendous ability to design, what I adore about him is his calmness and cool efficiency under pressure....Man he freaks me out with his ability to respond superbly in crisis situations.......beloved member of the "Group" - u are the best man...always be like this and God bless u
He broke his leg at IIM Indore.. And being in the pain he was he represented IIM Shillong.. That is guts.. Kudos to you for that...
An awesome awesome guy.. Speaks from the heart.. Great friend.. He is the face of IIM Shillong.. Had it been not for his and Trips's effort, we would not have got the recognition that we have today..
Sarvesh, first guy to stand up and say that "I am going to join IIM Shillong though its a new institute".. interacted with him often for PR and otherwise... a practical thinker and a rationale guy.. but sometimes moody.. dont know why..

My PR colleague with loads of creativity and perseverance. Sarvesh is the kind of person who would always underplay his own contribution to any work that is being done. Always willing to help and take initiative he is the kind of person I would love to have as a colleague in my professional life.
